One last getaway before the summer fades away

This last weekend we got to spend in New Braunfels at Schlitterbahn with the Speights--it was a fun little vacation before reality set in on Monday and I had to set an alarm to get up for work.

We stayed in a house right across the street from the waterpark and spent all day Saturday and part of the day Sunday there and had a blast. The weather was beautiful--it was actually cloudy at some points in the day--and though it was crowded, we didn't find ourselves waiting hours for any of the rides. And, Abagael was able to go on all of the tube rides and loved it, which made it all the more fun.

After a long day at the waterpark, we also enjoyed...

a lot of good food
