Happy Father's Day

This is a bit late, since we spent Father's Day with our fathers, and I didn't have my act together enough to get it done beforehand, but I just wanted to say to our dads how much we love and appreciate you and love having you in our lives.

I could not have asked for a better father. Thank you, Dad, for being intentional about living life, and teaching us how to do so also. Thank you for making decisions based upon your convictions and sticking to them.

Thank you for working so hard (both at work and at home) to provide such a good life for your family. I know you sacrificed a lot, probably way more than I could ever know, and I just wanted to say thank you.

And, on top of working, you always made it a priority to come to our school events, our sports games, our track meets. We could always count on you and mom to be there cheering.

Thank you for loving God and living your life for Him, teaching us how to do the same.

Thank you for your honesty and your transparency as you went through life--I have learned so much from watching you and talking to you.

Thank you for always helping us pursue our dreams and interests--whether it was cars or the cello or running, you always jumped in and helped us go for it.

And, thank you for all you do to love and support Landon and I.

Thank you for the advice and all the different loaned items of yours that we have in our house! And, thank you for your generosity that allows us to live where we are. For all of this and SO much more, for just being you and being the best father we could ask for, you are so loved and appreciated, Dad!

And Wes, I couldn't have asked for a better father in law. Thank you for raising Landon to be a loving, generous, compassionate, fun loving son. I am forever grateful to you for that. And, thank you for all you do for us now. Thank you for the dinner and the conversations and all the ways you show such generosity to us. It does no go unnoticed and we are so appreciative. Somehow I left our father's day dinner without ANY pictures, but I just wanted to say again, happy father's day and we love you!
