I've been cleaning house and working in the yard (which together seems like a never ending task!)

we've got lots of little cherry tomatoes and some of the bigger ones are starting to ripen too!And in between the house work, I've been running errands, lots and lots of errands. I've been doing all those little things I put off until summer instead of fitting them in during the last couple of months of school, which has been a lot--but it feels so good to finally be getting them done!
And we've also done some fun things too! We celebrated my little brother's birthday at the beginning of the month, as he left his teens and entered the twenties...
Last weekend we went on a fun little bike ride--I rode 56 miles and Landon did a century ride--100 miles! WOW. I was impressed, because halfway through, when I stopped, I was tired. More tired than I thought I would be, actually. We got up early, packed about a million water bottles into our cooler since it was supposed to be in the mid 90's (and it was!) and drove out to Katy to begin the ride. We rode from Katy to Hempsted and back and then dropped me off at the car. From there Landon rode from Katy to his parent's house in Sugar Land, and I followed him, meeting up with him at different placed we'd planned out to refill his water bottles, ice and gatorade. It was definitely an experience and I'm so proud of him because I'm pretty sure I couldn't have made it the whole way like he did.
We're still working out each night and last Wednesday I had my first bad experience at the gym. While we were swimming, my phone got stolen--either out of my gym bag or it fell out in the locker room and someone stole it. I searched the gym and all the areas I'd been and checked the front desk. Nothing. I was really bummed. While I was doing this, Landon was running on the treadmill and looking up ads for a Palm Pre on Craig's List (which I was unaware of) and after about an hour of searching for it at the gym, we left to go meet someone to buy a new Palm Pre from them. It was crazy; I was literally without my phone for maybe, maybe 2 hours. I don't even think it was that long though. It works perfectly and while I was making dinner that night Landon programmed (or whatever you called it) it for me, so it really felt like I had never lost mine at all. Crazy. Landon, you're the best. :)
This week, I've got a training for work (YUCK), I'm working on finishing up our scrapbooks from our trips this past year and we're finally, hopefully, going on our hot air balloon ride on Thursday morning! We're praying for good weather this time! :) And, I'm busy trying to get everything ready for our quickly approaching trips!
Happy Summer!
