The weekend of waffles and Wii

Though I'm so sad it's over, because that means back to work tomorrow, this weekend was so much fun--filled with family and friends and good food and good game playing.

We had my family over for brunch on Saturday morning to try out the new waffle pan my mom got for Christmas and we had a nice time talking and laughing and stuffing our faces, and then playing some Mario Kart.

Then, that night (and again tonight because we just had to beat the game!) some of our good friends came over for dinner and the new Super Mario Brothers Wii game. Even though I am HORRIBLE at video games, it was a good time.

We're so thankful for family and friends and love having them over--thanks guys, for a wonderful weekend! :)
