That's all I have to say.
We were going to wait and post this tomorrow, but Chris at Mercy Project waited up with us to see the final totals and went ahead and did the drawing for you guys tonight, because he's that awesome!
But, not as awesome as all of you.
When we started this, we had no idea what to expect. Honestly, we were hoping to at least raise the amount of money that we spent on the TV. And we were secretly hoping for somewhere around $700.
You guys exceeded that in the first day. We were blown away.
Over the last 3 days, 47 of you came together and raised a grand total of...
$2,520!!!
We are so excited and SO blessed to "know" you!! Know that that money will change the lives of some little children in Ghana in a HUGE way! All of the money is going directly towards building a place for the children to live when they are rescued--and the biggest obstacle standing in their way of being freed from their slavery is not having a place to live when they are rescued! So, from the bottom of our hears, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
