I felt so bad dropping them off; there were a bunch of other dogs barking and howling and they were just looking at me through the kennel bars with these big eyes saying "what did I do wrong? why are you leaving me here?"
They made it through the surgery just fine, but this afternoon when I picked them up they were just pitiful. They were both a little mopey and just laying down in the backseat.

I think Baby was still a little drugged, and possibly a little mad at me. She refused to come to me, wouldn't jump up into the car and pulled away every time I tried to pet her. She was pitiful.
Will didn't seem to hold anything against me (aside from the fact that I wouldn't open the window so he could stick his head out) until we got home.
He really wanted food and water (they couldn't have anything to eat or drink after 10pm last night) and I wasn't supposed to give him anything for an hour because they said he would probably just throw it up. He just walked around behind me whining. It was pathetic. I finally gave in and just gave it to him. He was fine--and we were both significantly happier. Then, they spent the entire rest of the evening doing this. Which is exactly where they are right now.
I know it's silly, but I was really nervous dropping them off, especially since I had to sign a high risk waiver for Will because of his seizures, so I was so glad they were ok when I picked them up! And, while it makes me a little sad because puppies are so much fun, I'm glad we don't have to worry about Baby having babies!
Our dog got fixed last week too and she has been just as pathetic! It's sad and funny all at the same time! Hope to see you guys soon!
