Our end of the year project

This year on the Saturday after Christmas Landon and I decided it would be as good of time as any to do our annual "spring cleaning/deep cleaning" since we missed it last Spring Break. So, we've spent the vast majority of the last 7 days cleaning and organizing and re-organizing and shopping at IKEA and Home Depot and Target and painting and decorating and things of that nature. It was a lot of work and involved A LOT of late nights, but it was a fun project to do together (we had a lot of quality bonding time haha)...and we're really happy with how things came out. It makes my heart happy to know everything has a place and everything is in it's place and the dirt is gone and all the stuff we don't need is gone and donated to someone who might be able to use it.

After a ridiculous number of hours, our room was finally where we were happy with it...minus the perfect rug we still have yet to find (but at least it was super clean and organized for when the rug does come along, haha)

It was a fun week, but now I'm glad it's done and we have the weekend to relax and enjoy it. And not think about how we have to go back to work on Monday. :(
