As I mentioned in a previous post, last Thursday Landon had a pretty bad wreck on his bike as he was doing a training ride for his Ironman. Considering horror stories we've heard though and things that could have happened, especially since he landed on his head/face, he was so blessed and I know God was taking care of him. However, he definitely got scraped up and bruised up. The wounds are healing (and he's become an expert on bandaging them!) but they're definitely still there and still painful. He's much tougher than I am! I think I'd be totally freaked out to get back on a bike, but he's ready to get back out and ride. He's just waiting for the cuts/scrapes to heal up enough to where he can get back to training. I'm just thanking God for taking care of him and protecting him out there on the road--and praying he never has another crash like this one!
