We begin testing at 8am. Kids are working hard.
At 1130am we get a bomb threat. Testing materials are collected. Cops flood the building. Fire trucks show up and block off traffic. The bomb squad (or whatever they're called--the guys who searched the building for the bomb) arrived. The whole school stood outside on the perimeter of the school property while they did their thing. Neighbors came out of their houses to watch. The new channel helicopter circled overhead.
Around 12:30pm we got the all clear and went inside and resumed testing as normal.
Then. after the test and work came to a close, I ran home to pick up my dogs and take them to the vet for their shots. Baby got hers. Will was getting checked out because he had an ear infection the last time we were there. He was looking good this time though.
Then, as they were taking him off the table, he had a seizure. It scared the crap out of me. Then, they gave him some Valium to relax his muscles and he couldn't move and that scared me almost as much.
We learned today that epilepsy is common in beagles, so we're taking him in tomorrow to the vet to get bloodwork done and get everything checked out.
Please pray for my puppy--I hated seeing him like that and not being able to do anything.
Tomorrow I'm hoping for a blissfully UN-eventful day.
