Not that we want Aedan to come today--I still want him to grow as much as he can inside of me!--but, it's nice to know that if he did decide to come anytime from here on out, he would be considered full term. We go back for our last ultrasound at the hospital sometime this week to see how big he really is measuring and all of that fun stuff, but he's probably around 6 1/2 pounds at this point and gaining about a half a pound a week from here on out. While he's practicing inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid to get his lungs ready to take his first breath and practicing sucking on his thumb to get ready for his first feeding outside the womb, we're busy getting all the last things done around here to prepare for him. I think I'm officially in nesting mode right now, but trying really hard not to drive Landon crazy with it! We've been out buying the last few things we needed for him, finishing the nursery and Landon's been putting together all of his little things--he put together the high chair and bouncer last night and tonight he's working on the swing. It makes me smile to walk by them and see sweet little reminders that pretty soon we'll have a little baby here at our house with us!
