Today

...was the last day of testing for the year!

...Landon is in taper mode for Ironman training.

...I finally finished (what I could complete) of Aedan's baby book.

...I'm so thankful to be able to stay at home with our baby next year and am trying really hard to stay out of all the unhappiness and drama at my school, but not be completely checked out of what my friends at work at dealing with.

...I wasn't going to go walking because it is raining, but now I'm thinking I may go for a walk in the rain.

...I finally am caught up on laundry (for the moment, at least!).

...I began cleaning out my classroom.

...Landon is out biking in the rain.

...I bought a watermelon. It is delicious.

...I think I looked at my students I was testing like they were out of their mind when they asked me to turn the air off. I was burning up and had just been thinking that maybe the a/c wasn't working right, and they were all freezing. Landon can probably relate to them. Oh, the joys of pregnancy. :)

...I have 17 days left of teaching.

...marks one month until our unofficial due date, given at our 20 week ultrasound, of June 11th

...I am the last teacher at my school, out of the four of us that were pregnant, to still be pregnant.

...there are 10 days until Landon's Ironman.

...there are 10 days left until our 5th anniversary.

...as soon as I watered my plants it started raining harder than it's rained in months. It made me think of the book Come On Rain, which made me think of my sweet friend from grad school and our first year teaching, Teresa. Teresa--if you're reading this--give me a call! I miss talking to you and I somehow don't have your phone number anymore.

...I'm incredibly grateful for the generosity of one of Landon's coworkers and the thoughtfulness of mine.

...I used our broiler for the first time to broil tomatoes. I didn't even know my oven had a broiler on it until my brother used it on Sunday, ha! Thanks, Matthew! It worked great.

...is a good day.
