A much needed weekend at HOME

After a busy couple of weekends, it was so nice to just spend a weekend at home, caching up on stuff around the house...and TRUST ME, there was more than enough that needed getting caught up on! :)

We both slept in some, which I had been looking forward to since the day after the marathon.

Then, I spent literally all day cleaning the inside of our house and doing laundry etc and Landon spent literally all day outside working in the yard. I'm still not sure who got the short end of that stick...

For the first half of the day, while Landon was working out in the front yard, the dogs spent the morning following me around and the sitting and staring at me while I cleaned.

Then, Landon moved to the back yard and spent the rest of the day working back there, while Baby spent the rest of her day standing at our back door watching him. She was cracking me up--she wouldn't move from that window!

Around dinnertime, we decided that that night was the perfect night to reward ourselves with our Date in a Box--our birthday present from my brothers that we got back in August.

We spent our dinner movie on Star Pizza (our instructions were to try a new restaurant in our neighborhood that we'd never been to) which was delicious.

And, we chose to spend our movie money on Transformers, which we watched as we chowed down on our pizza.

It was a wonderful ending to the day--and we finally feel some semblance of order and being on top of things in our life again, which is equally wonderful!
