WE DID IT!!

I always thought marathoners were lying when they said that running a marathon was fun, but, as cliche as it now sounds to say, running the Chicago Marathon actually WAS a lot of fun!

The weather was cold but ended up being just perfect and we both met our time goals, which we are ecstatic about--I ran a 4:55 and Landon ran a 3:59, which I am an awe of!!

More later, when I'm more awake and can download some pictures--we just got back from eating some awesome stuffed deep dish pizza at Giordino's and we're gonna watch some football until we fall asleep.

This is the day and time that I've been wanting to arrive at since we signed up for the Chicago Marathon back in January--it's still somewhat unreal to think that the marathon is over!!
