Reason # 6,421 that I love my husband

Today was a long day at work, which came to a bad end during homeroom at the end of the day--the kids were just wound up and loud and tired and didn't bring any homework with them to do, so it was a L-O-N-G 45 minutes. Then, at the very end of the period I had 2 boys who were really acting just crazy and driving me crazy, so by the time the bell rang, I think my blood pressure had risen a few notches.

And then, as I opened the door and the kids poured out into the hallway, out of the corner of my eye I saw someone talking to one of the other teachers that looked like my husband, but I just kinda dismissed it as something funny to see (not even realizing that it might actually BE my husband) and continued telling the kids bye as they streamed out the door.

Then, I did a double take a couple of seconds later and as he smiled at me, I realized it was Landon. And all of a sudden the bad kids didn't matter anymore (for that moment, at least) and my blood pressure returned to a normal level and I smiled back at him.

It was a such a perfect time for him to come and see me at work (which he is never able to do since we work about an hour away from each other--one of his clients that he had to visit just happened to be staying right across the street from my school!). He got to meet a few more of my co-workers, see my classroom and we just sat and talked for a little while in the comfy chairs in my room.

It was so fun. And it reminded me of all of the other times he's surprised me like that--at Camp of the Hills, in Abilene, with a wedding ring, at The Mission, at EHS, at Lindsay and I's apartment...I could go on and on.

Thank you babe, for being so awesome at surprising me--and always at just the right time! :) I loved seeing you at school today--it was the perfect ending to my Wednesday.
