There aren't many people I keep up with from high school (aside from facebook :)), but there are a couple. Three of us live in Houston again and the others always call when they're in town, which usually results in dinner somewhere (or the occasional Counting Crows concert, like the picture above that I just found on my phone from last fall :)) and a night of good food and good conversation. Sometimes the husbands/boyfriends come and sometimes not, but its always fun to catch up.
This summer one of my friends in moving up north for her residency now that she's graduated from medical school and another is moving from Houston to Dallas for grad school, so we thought a dinner together was in order, considering it might be a while since we see each other again.
As always, it was a blast. There's nothing like hanging out with people who have known you since you were 12, remember all of your fun/horrible/awkward/important middle school and high school moments and still want to be your friends, haha!
