Our favorite family in the world

During our freshman year of college, Landon and I met a woman named Pam, who is now a good friend of ours, and her four kids, who we affectionately refer to as "our" kids. When we first met them they were babies--1, 3, 5, and 7, roughly. Now, they're 10, 12, 14 and 16. It's hard to believe that almost 10 years has passed since we first met them and we are so glad they are in our lives. Even though we only get to see them a few times a year now that we live in Houston and they're in Abilene, they're never far from our minds or our hearts and we are always thrilled when we do get to see them. We only got to spend an afternoon at their house this past weekend, but it was so nice to have that time with them to catch up and reconnect. I am so glad we have the kind of relationship with them though where it doesn't matter how much time has passed, we are able to pick up as if no time has passed at all.
